This ChinaDreams Freedom Tour is designed to allow energetic and independence-loving guests to enjoy the broader China and tour experience mostly by own choices at each destination, while traveling safely in a group and at relatively low cost. Our travel agency and partners are providing the convenience to the guests by arranging the transportations to and from the airport, train station or cruise terminals, 3-star hotel accommodations at the multiple cities on itinerary, flight/train/cruise tickets and delivery of tickets, as well as basic travel insurance. With these tours, our guests have the opportunities to view China in their own eyes and get closer to the culture, history and authentic life in various places in China.
Full Itinerary for the 26-Day Tour:
Day 1:
Arrive in Beijing. Pick-up at the Beijing Airport and transferred to the hotel.
Day 2:
Enjoy China’s capital city of Beijing freely by the guests.
Note: For the rest of the trip as well, English tour guide can be provided per request for a fee. See Rules and Policy.
Day 3:
Continue to enjoy Beijing and its numerous attractions freely.
Day 4:
Gather at the hotel lobby and taken to the Beijing train station. Take Beijing-to-Xi’An overnight sleeper train Z19(about 11 hours) departing at 21:04pm to Xi’An, ancient capital city in the west. 

Day 5:
Arrive in Xi’An around 8:25am. Taken to the hotels by bus. Guests can enjoy the rest of day in Xi’An themselves.
Day 6:

Enjoy Xi’An in the day. At early night, guests will be gathered at the hotel lobby and taken to the train station to take Xi’An-to-Lanzhou sleeper train K119 at 22:26pm (about 9 hours).
Day 7:
Arrive in Lanzhou around 6:35am. Taken to the hotel. Rest and enjoy the rest of the day in Lanzhou, capital city of Gansu Province in the west of China.
Day 8:
Gather at the hotel lobby in the afternoon and taken to the train station for Lanzhou-to-Dunhuang N857 sleeper train at 17:58pm (about 14 hours).
Day 9:
About 7:55am arrive in Dunhuang- famous for the Dunhuang Grottoes on the Silk Road. Bus will take guests to the hotel. The rest of the day is the tour of the place freely by guests.

Day 10:
Enjoy Dunhuang Grottoes by self.
Day 11:
In the evening, gather at the hotel lobby and taken to the train station and continue the journey to the west. Take 20:16pm Dunhuang-to-Urumqi T216 sleeper train to Urumqi, the capital and largest city of Xinjiang Province which is the west most province of China bordering Afghanistan, Russia, etc. It’s also called Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, an important area along the ancient Silk Road.
Day 12:
Arrive in Urumqi around 10:54am. Taken to the hotel by bus. Tour by one self of this western large city.
Day 13:
Continue to enjoy Urumqi and its unique local culture on one’s own.
Day 14:
Gather in hotel lobby and taken to the train station by bus. Take Urumqi-to-Kashgar overnight sleeper train N886 at 12:09pm (about 22 hours) to another large city of Xinjiang –Kashgar. Kashgar is an oasis city situated at the west of the Taklamakan Desert at the feet of the Tian Shan(Mt. Heaven) mountain range and is one of the culture centers of Uyghur people.
Day 15:
Arrive in Kashgar around 11:06am.Taken to the hotel and free time for the rest of the day.
Day 16:
Continue to enjoy the unique scenery, culture and local cuisine of Kashgar on one’s own.
Day 17:
Gather at the hotel lobby around noon and and taken to the train station to go back to Urumqi for other journey to the east. Take Kashgar-to-Urumqi N888 sleeper train at 13:06pm(for 22 hours).
Day 18:
About 12:17pm arrive in Urumqi. Taken to the hotel by bus. Free for the rest of the day.

Day 19 and 20:
In the evening, after gathering at the hotel lobby, taken to the train station for Urumqi-to-Shanghai T54 sleeper train at 18:57pm (about 44 hours) to the metropolitan city of Shanghai, from west all the way to the east. Enjoy the changes of sceneries of China on the train.
Day 21:
Arrive in Shanghai about 14:54pm. Taken to the hotel by bus. Rest for the day and free tour.
Day 22:
Enjoy Shanghai city on one’s own.
Day 23:
Last day of the tour. Guests will be sent to the airport to return to their own countries or continue other China journey.
