This ChinaDreams Freedom Tour is designed to allow energetic and independence-loving guests to enjoy the broader China and tour experience mostly by own choices at each destination, while traveling safely in a group and at relatively low cost. Our travel agency and partners are providing the convenience to the guests by arranging the transportations to and from the airport, train station or cruise terminals, 3-star hotel accommodations at the multiple cities on itinerary, flight/train/cruise tickets and delivery of tickets, as well as basic travel insurance. With these tours, our guests have the opportunities to view China in their own eyes and get closer to the culture, history and authentic life in various places in China.
Full Itinerary for the 26-Day Tour:
Day 1:
Arrive in Beijing. Pick-up at the Beijing Airport and transferred to the hotel.
Day 2:
Enjoy the Capital of China-Beijing freely by the guests.
Note: For the rest of the trip as well, English tour guide can be provided per request for a fee. See Rules and Policy.
Day 3:
Continue to enjoy Beijing and its numerous attractions freely.
Day 4:
Gather at the hotel lobby and taken to the Beijing train station. Take Beijing-to-Yichang (KZ9) overnight sleeper train to see Yangtze River and Three Gorges.
Day 5:
Arrive in Yichang by Yantze River around 10:33am. Taken to the hotels by bus. Guests can enjoy the rest of day themselves.
Day 6:
Tour Yantze River and Three Gorges. Guests will be taken to the 8:00am departure cruise ship by bus. (Standard cruise ship. Seats will be 2nd Class, 4 person per cabin).
Day 7:
On the cruise and enjoy excursions by own choices.
Day 8:
On the cruise and enjoy excursions by own choices.
Day 9:
About 8:00am arrive in one of largest cities of Southwestern China -Chongqing. Bus will take guests to the hotel. The rest of the day is the tour of the city freely by guests.
Day 10:
Guests are gathered at the hotel lobby early in the morning and taken to train station by bus. Take Chongqing –to-Chengdu Train T882 to Chengdu, departure at 7:49am (about 3.5 hours). Upon arriving Chengdu at around 11:15am, guests will be taken to the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day by self.
Day 11:
Enjoy the city Chengdu, the capital city of Sichuan Province by own choices.
Day 12:
Take K113 Chengdu-to-Kunming overnight train to Kunming. Gathered and taken to train station from hotel lobby.
Day 13:
Arriving Kunming around 7:58am and taken to the hotel by bus. Tour Kunming on one’s own.
Day 14:
Gather in hotel lobby and taken to the airport by bus. Take Kunming-to-Lijiang flight for one hour to LIjiang, Yunnan Province. Upon arrival guests will be sent to the hotel by bus. The rest of the day is free tour of Lijiang on one’s own.
Day 15:
Continue to freely enjoy Lijiang and its famous Old Town.
Day 16:
Morning gather at the hotel lobby and sent to airport by bus. Fly back to Kunming (about 1 hour flight). Taken to hotel in Kunming and the rest of the day is free.
Day 17:
Gather at the hotel lobby in early afternoon and taken to the train station. Take Kunming-to-Guilin K3993 overnight sleeper train (departure 16:53pm). About 18.5 hours to Guilin, one of the most striking scenic area in Southern China.
Day 18:
About 11:20am arriving in Guilin. Taken to the hotel by bus.
Day 19:
Enjoy the beautiful sceneries of Guilin freely on one’s own.
Day 20:
Gather at the hotel lobby in the evening and taken to train station. Take Guilin-to-Shenzhen T40 overnight sleeper train (departs at 21:48pm, about 12.5 hours to Shenzhen).
Day 21:
Arrive in Shenzhen at about 10:25am. Taken to the hotel. Guests enjoy Shenzhen freely. Shenzhen is cross strait to Hong Kong, one of the fastest growing Southern China cities.
Day 22:
Continue to enjoy Shenzhen and its shopping areas on ones’ own.
Day 23:
Gather in hotel lobby in the morning and taken to the terminal for boat from Shenzhen to Hong Kong (about 1 hour). Upon arrival, taken to the hotel and the rest of the day is free.
Day 24:
Tour Hong Kong on one’s own.
Day 25:
Continue to enjoy Hong Kong on one’s own.
Day 26:
Departure day of the entire tour. Gather in the hotel lobby and sent to the airport. Guests can fly back to their own countries or back to mainland China according to their own plan. |

Rules and Conditions: |
The services included in the quote:
• Major transportation of the tour and deliveries of the tickets including plane, train (including soft or sleeper seats) and cruise tickets
• In-city 3-star hotel accommodations on double occupancy (Total 18 nights for this tour. A $500 surcharge for single supplement)
• Pick-up bus services (to and from airports, train stations, cruise terminals) and guide for the pick-up services
• Basic travel insurance of $60,000 per person
• One copy of free China travel guidebook or map(English edition)
Services or Cost NOT included in the quote:
• International flight tickets
• Tour guide fees. Note: English Tour Guide can be requested for a fee. For mainland China, the English tour guide fee is $80 per day per party and For Hong Long, $100 per day.
• Meal cost throughout the tour
• Gate fees to attractions throughout the tour
• Cost at the free touring time (for example, transportation cost to the attractions, etc)
• Other self expenses
• Tips to the drivers or guides. Guests are encouraged to pay tips to the guide or bus drivers directly.
Other Notes:
Advanced reservation is required for this tour. The quote on the web site is for per person in a group of 10 people (maximum 15). Per China local travel agency rules, tour must be purchased and paid in-advance 30 days before the departure date. We’ll help process the visa and plane tickets for the group. Plane ticket fees (from individual departure location), visa and application fees will apply in addition to the tour quote.
