The National Flag of China 
Chine has a centralized government system. Zhongnanhai on ChangAn Boulevard in Beijing (shown in the picture above) is the location of central government. Under the Central Government, the state is divided into local-governed regions. The regions of local governments are categorized as:
· Municipalities (Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin and Chongqing)
· Provinces (total 23 including Taiwan)
· Autonomous Regions (Guangxi Zhuang, Inner Mongolia, Tibet, Ningxia Hui, Xinjiang Uygur)
· Special Administrative Regions (Hong Kong and Macao)
